Depending on the severity of your rim damage, there are many options for repair. For example small curb rash or scrapes are can be repaired simply, however larger curb bites that dig deep into the rim will be more challenging, will require more attention to detail.
Below are some examples and explanation of the process.
Before Repair. Very light damage from low speed curb rash. Typically what we encounter day to day, example would be parking.
After Repair. Not much sanding or smoothening out needed, and the finish is nearly 100% unnoticeable from a few feet away compared to no repair.
Before Repair. Medium damage from curb rash, badly scratched but not deep in some areas.
After Repair. Deeper lines can still be seen, however if customer wishes, we can make it less visible by grinding down the rim and smoothing out more.
Hard damage. Notice the gouged area on the top. This type of damage will require more effort and may not be near 90%
As shown above, the areas around the deeper dents look ok. The deeper dents can be fixed if customer wishes, again this will require time grinding down, sanding, and smoothening more before finishing.
